Carboys

Carboys for brewing purpose should be both temperature and alcohol resistant. HDPE plastic is the recommended plastic as it is fully alcohol resistant and can with stand temperatures up to 100.0^o Celcius. The common available sizes are: 15lt, 30lt, and 60lt. Historically available as either: Ampi, Atlas, BMW, Rheem, and VB style. Some carboy styles also had either one piece or two piece lids. Carboy styles and parts are presently limited to Ampi style which uses a common lid for all of its sizes.
