Liquid Malts can be used as the base for your own beer recipe. Using a 1.5kg can of liquid malt top with water to eleven (11) litres maximum volume. Bring to the boil and then add as a start 12.5g of a low Alpha hop such as a noble hop and simmer boil for sixty minutes. When cooled transfer to a fermenter and add your yeast. Ferment until your wort's SG is below 1.010. When using liquid malts 1.2kg of liquid malt will be equal to 1.0kg of dry malt powder.
